You are probably wondering at this point how this program works!

How the Program Works:

Step 1 - The customer (maker) writes the merchant a check for goods or services up to $1,000.00

Step 2 - The merchant checks to see if the following information is preprinted on the check, otherwise he writes on the face of the check:

A. The maker's name

B. The maker's physical address

C. The maker's home and work telephone numbers with area code

D. The maker's driver's license number and state of issuance

Step 3 - The check is returned to the merchant's bank with payment refused (NSF)

Step 4 - The merchant's bank directly forwards the NSF check to Check Guarantee Services for purchase

Step 5 - Check Guarantee Services notifies the merchant by mail informing the merchant that the check is NSF

Step 6 - Check Guarantee Services forwards the merchant every month a computer generated check equal to 90 % of the face value of the NSF check.

For example - If the NSF check was $1,000 then you receive $900

Just make sure all of the items in Step 2 are either preprinted or written on the check, otherwise your payment is reduced to 41 %. It's that simple!

Check Guarantee Services takes care of the entire process of collecting payment from the bad check writers. You are completely out of the loop so you don't have to spend the time, have the aggravation, or incur the expense of tracking them down. In accordance with state law a charge of $25.00 will be added to the bad check writer's collection bill to help cover collection expenses and you will be given a sticker noting this charge to place by your register. The sticker alone often deturs would be bad check writers.
